Daphne & Stripes
Daphne & Stripes are twin sisters — and they’re both stunning white tigers! Their rare white coats are caused by a unique genetic trait that reduces the pigment called pheomelanin, which gives most Bengal tigers their rich orange coloring. White tigers are incredibly rare in the wild, making them truly special and breathtaking to see up close.
Despite their majestic appearance, these big cats have playful personalities all their own. Daphne loves squeezing into her favorite tub for a relaxing bath and often shows off her silly side, while Stripes prefers stretching out in the sunshine and soaking up the warmth like royalty. Watching them interact is both fascinating and heartwarming.
White tigers are not a separate species — they are Bengal tigers with a rare genetic variation. Their striking icy-blue eyes, snowy fur, and dark stripes make them some of the most recognizable and admired big cats in the world.
At Endangered Animal Rescue Sanctuary, Daphne & Stripes receive the love, care, and enrichment they deserve. Every donation helps provide food, medical care, safe habitats, and a second chance for incredible animals like them.
